At the Tuesday, June 20 Regular Meeting, council members authorized the execution of an agreement between the City and Eros T. Shaw for facade improvements at 2420 Cartwright Rd.; confirmed the hiring of Donnie Hayes as the Parks & Recreation Director; and approved a three (3) percent salary adjustment for the City Secretary to be in alignment with the organization salary adjustments. Presentations & Recognitions
- Recognized the Parks & Recreation Department for their designation as a Certified Autism Center.

- Recognized Etta Smith for her contributions to the Juneteenth celebrations.

Consent Agenda
- Approved (7-0) the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement to purchase three landscaping equipment machinery: one John Deere 5045E Utility Tractor, one John Deere Gator TS, and one John Deere Z930M ZTrak Mower in an amount not to exceed $55,000.
- Authorized (7-0) the City Manager to execute an amendment to Siddons-Martin Emergency Group, LLC Buy Board contract #651-21.
- Authorized (7-0) the City Manager to execute a contract with Blue Ox Construction Inc. for facilities improvements at the Sign Shop in City Hall Complex and City Centre at Quail Valley in an amount not to exceed $137,131.32.
- Authorized (7-0) the City Manager to negotiate and execute the continuing renewal of Microsoft software assurance for a three-year term with an annual subscription renewal of more than $50,000 per year.

- Held a public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Llarance Turner, RPLS, Kaluza, Inc. to zone an approximate 1.19 acres of land and an approximate 1.12 acres of land to LC-3, retail district, and to the extent such zoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject sites are located east of Highway 6, west of Fort Bend Community Church, north of Oyster Creek Village at Lake Olympia residential subdivision, and south of Sugar Creek Baptist Church.
- Approved (7-0) an ordinance on the first of two readings to zone an approximate 1.19 acres of land and an approximate 1.12 acres of land to LC-3, retail district, and to the extent such zoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject sites are located east of Highway 6, west of Fort Bend Community Church, north of Oyster Creek Village at Lake Olympia residential subdivision, and south of Sugar Creek Baptist Church.

- Approved (7-0) a resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City of Missouri City and Eros T. Shaw for facade improvements at 2420 Cartwright Rd.
