At the Monday, May 1 Regular Meeting, council members authorized a revised parkland dedication proposal for Parkway Crossing; authorized execution of a contract with Texas Drainage, Inc. for citywide ditch cleaning services; and approved a resolution converting the pay provisions for each individual firefighter and police officer into the newly adopted civil service step-pay matrix. - Authorized (7-0) a revised parkland dedication proposal for Parkway Crossing and rescinded a previous proposal approved on June 1, 2020.
- Authorized (7-0) the City Manager to execute a contract with Texas Drainage, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $160,000, in an aggregate over a four-year period for citywide ditch cleaning services.
- Accepted (7-0) the Quarterly Investment Report for the quarter that ended on March 31, 2023.

Appointments
- Confirmed (7-0) the appointment of Linda Bell, Position 2; Cody Radley, Position 3; and Debbie Marcell, Position 1 as directors to the Sienna Management District.
- Confirm the reappointment of John Van De Wiele, James C. Brown, Chuck Howell, and Jaime Stewart as directors to the Missouri City Management District No. 2. This item was postponed to another meeting.
Ordinances
- Consider an ordinance on the first of two readings authorizing the execution of a developer participation agreement between the City and Missouri City BTR, LLC, in an amount not to exceed 66 percent, $650,000, of the estimated project costs for a traffic signal improvement located at the intersection of State Highway 6 and Vicksburg Boulevard. No action was taken.
- Approved (7-0) an ordinance on the first of two readings adopting a new pay plan for non-exempt personnel and exempt personnel, excluding civil service Fire Department personnel, civil service Police Department personnel, and appointed employees. Second reading of this ordinance is set to be at the Special City Council Meeting on May 5, 2023.
- Approved (7-0) an ordinance on the first of two readings amending the civil service implementation ordinance of the City; providing certain amendments related to base pay, seniority pay, and temporary duties in higher classification for certain Fire Department and Police Department personnel; providing for repeal; providing for severability; providing an effective date; and containing other provisions related thereto. Second reading of this ordinance is set to be at the Special City Council Meeting on May 5, 2023.

- Approved (7-0) a resolution converting the pay provisions for each individual firefighter and police officer into the newly adopted civil service step-pay matrix.
- Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to attest an assignment, notice and consent by and between the City and DPEG Vicksburg, LP, pertaining to the assignment of a tax increment reinvestment zone incentive agreement from DPEG Vicksburg, LP, to the City. No action was taken.
