Missouri City is in the process of redistricting per the City Charter requirement to do so within two years following the federal census. To educate the community on the process, the proposed changes and to get residents’ feedback, the City will be hosting virtual workshops for all four districts in the upcoming weeks.
Citizens are invited to join the meeting via WebEx using the credentials provided for their appropriate districts. Those interested in making oral comments during these meetings should sign up by 2 p.m. on the day of the meeting by emailing MCRedistricting@missouricitytx.gov.
The virtual meeting dates and log in details are as follows:
District A – Tuesday, March 8 at 6 p.m.
District B – Monday, March 14 at 6 p.m.
District C – Wednesday, March 16 at 6 p.m.
District D – Tuesday, March 22 at 6 p.m.
In addition to the above virtual workshops, there will be two public hearings on this topic in the Community Center during the Regular City Council meetings on:
- Monday, March 7 at 7 p.m.
- Monday, March 21 at 7 p.m.
All comments must be submitted in writing by Monday, March 28. Residents may email their comments and any questions to MCRedistricting@missouricitytx.gov.
