Athletic Programs

Join the Men's Basketball League for your chance to lead your team to the championship and earn your ring! Guaranteed 5 games and a chance to make the playoffs. The season will also include All Star weekend where players have the chance to make the All Star team, enter the 3-point challenge and Skills Challenge.
When: Mondays or Thursdays
- Times: Mondays, 8 - 12 years old, 5:00 - 6:00 pm
- Thursdays, 13 - 16 years old, 5:00 - 6:00 pm
- Where: Recreation & Tennis Center
- Fees: $50 per month
Weekly basketball training for you 8 - 16 years old. The training will focus on improving dribbling, shooting, defense, and basketball IQ through small group training sessions.
Volleyball School
- When: Tuesdays or Wednesdays
- January - May, 5:00 – 8:30 pm
- Location: Recreation & Tennis Center
- Ages: 5 – 17 (K – 10th)
- Fees: $75
Introduction to basic skills, emphasize game awareness, and establish a solid foundation. Participants will learn and improve upon their overall skill set.
Game Play
- When: Wednesdays
- January - April, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
- Location: Recreation & Tennis Center
- Ages: 7 - 16
- Fee: $195 if registered before January 3rd; $225 if registered after January 3rd
This is your chance to get in-game experience without committing to an entire league. Girls grades 3rd-8th are invited to get in the game and improve their skills!
- Grades 5th - 6th: 6:30 - 7:30 pm
- Grades: 8th - 10th: 7:30 - 8:30 pm
Practice and Play Softball
- When: Wednesdays
- 6:00 - 7:00 pm, March - April
- Location: Recreation & Tennis Center
- Ages: 7 – 13 years
- Fee: $15 per month

Learn the basics and fundamentals to the game of softball by practicing the skills of catching, fielding, throwing, and batting. Then apply those skils in through scrimmaging each session.
Ultimate Frisbee Open Play
- When: Wednesdays, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- Location: Hunters Glen Park
- Fees: Free
Join MCTX Parks and Houston Ultimate Community for open play at Hunters Glen Park! New and experienced players, girls and guys alike are welcome.

The City of Missouri City Parks & Recreation Department recognizes that concussions and head injuries can result from contact in sports and have serious consequences if not properly evaluated and treated.
The Concussion Policy (PDF) has been put in place to help educate and establish a plan of action for coaches, volunteers, staff, and any authorized third-party program using Department facilities and parents/guardians for any participant that suffers or suspected of suffering a concussion during a sporting event.
